2009 Junior National Programs in Action STAR Event Team
Their community service project focused on educating local residents about the benefits of recycling. One of their projects was collecting used ink cartridges, and cell phones and sending them to a company that recycles them. These team members won first place at the regional and state levels and competed at the National FCCLA Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. They received a "gold medal" at the national competition.
