New Head Coach

April 13, 2010

Jason Sims has been selected as the head football coach for Quanah ISD.  The Quanah School Board offered him the position Monday night.

Sims was the linebackers coach and special teams coordinator this year for the Wichita Falls High School and before that, he was the defensive coordinator at Archer City for six years.  He has also coached at City View.

Sims is originally from Childress, he played football for the Bobcats and graduated from Childress in 1993.

Sims replaces James McDaniel, Coach Mac, who is retiring at the end of this year after spending 35 years with Quanah ISD.  Coach Mac compiled a 79-41 record in 11 seasons as head coach.  Coach Mac will be greatly missed

Quanah ISD regrets the loss of a great coach, however, we are excited to have Jason Sims on our team.

Welcome Jason Sims to Quanah ISD!
