Accessing these excellent tutorials is easy. Go to www.esc9.net and find the link Media Catalog/Library Resources. A pop-up menu will appear with several options.
Students go to the link Student On-Line Tutorials. Log in using your first initial of your first name and last name (lower case/no spaces) as their user name. Password is region9. There is a chance that another student has the same user name in the region, if you are unable to log in as instructed above change the user name to your first initial of your first name then first initial of your middle name followed by your last name. The PEIMS student database from last year's fall submission was used to create the accounts. Therefore, if you are a 9th grader, then you will need to click on the junior high campus because last year, you were in the 8th grade.
Teachers go to the Teacher On-Line Tutorials Link. Two options appear. You have access to the databases to use in your instruction or have access to the usage reports to monitor student progress. For either link, log in using your first name, one space, then last name (lower case/no spaces) as your user name. Password is region9. You will select Non-student/Administrator in the first drop down box. If you cannot log in, it might be the case of two educators in the region with the same first and last name.
For new students and teachers (not in last year's PEIMS database) and for those who have problems logging in, please call 972-348-1162.
