Junior High School Preparation and Registration

Travis Middle School:
Registration will begin August 9th and 10th from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Parents must attend with their students; students cannot pre-register without a parent or legal guardian present so that all necessary paperwork can be given directly to the parent. No student schedules or lockers assignments will be given out until all information is returned to the Junior High Office. It is vital that contact information be current and on file in case of an emergency. This includes students who are currently enrolled in the Quanah School District and all new student to the district.
New Students will be required to furnish a birth certificate, social security card, and a record of immunizations (as required by Texas Law) at the time of registration.
Schedules and locker assignments may be picked up at the Quanah Junior High School Office August 19th and 20th until 4:00 pm.
All necessary paperwork must be completed before any class schedules are released.
August 12, 2010 - Parent/Student Orientation in the QHS auditorium at 6:00 pm for 7th and 8th graders. MacBook orientation will be at 7:00 pm, and the technology fee of $40 will be due at orientation.
August 23, 2010 - First Day of School: All Junior High Students will meet first thing in the Gymnasium at 8:00 am.
Pictures will be taken the first day of school.
Busses will run regular schedules, and breakfast and lunches will be served in the Reagan Elementary Cafeteria.
