Biographical Information
Mr. Nathaniel Tubbs is in his second year as Director of Bands for Quanah ISD. Before coming to Quanah, Mr. Tubbs held a similar position in Hamlin, Texas. His bands in Hamlin received "superior" ratings in UIL competition. Mr. Tubbs holds a bachelor of music degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where he studied euphonium and conducting with Dr. Larry Archambo. While at Midwestern, he served as principal euphonium in the Wind Ensemble for three years and was one of the founding members of Midwestern Music Educators Association, an organization designed to help both current and future music educators identify and define current trends and challenges in the music education field.
